Hi friends,

Here we go – the first bulletin of 2026. In December, I took some time off and went home to the Czech Republic to see family. Although it was a slow month for business updates, there are still a few pieces to record here.

Aukro <> Shoptet connection

Our addon for Shoptet that allows syncing offers to AUKRO and orders back to Shoptet is now open for all users!

We now have over 20 e-shops offering and successfully selling through the Aukro marketplace. It’s powerful to see how this integration enables e-shops to reach the established marketplace’s existing customer base.

The tool is now pretty stable and offers quite a broad set of features. Especially inserting the orders back into the Shoptet seems to simplify the flow of the shops significantly.

If my experience from Wix apps has shown me anything, we should start proactively collecting reviews for the addon.

Career and Job Board

We’ve been working on our Career and Job Board Wix app. As the third most promising app, it deserved some attention, especially after a few support tickets we got. We’ve added support for:

  • Pagination
  • Sorting of jobs
  • Multiple emails for notifications

We also tweaked the market listing on the Wix marketplace. The goal is to increase conversion from page visitors to installs. We are currently at 39.4% so let’s see if we manage to make an impact on that number.

Send Secrets

During the time off, I decided to build a simple Wix app to sort of scratch my own itch.

The app is now in the Wix review process, but basically, it is a simple tool to share passwords and other secrets without exposing them to chats or email flows. I needed to send some API keys to another person, and doing it over email in a raw format was not an option. They could then be read by anyone who got a glimpse of the emails from that point on forever.

So we built a tool that encodes the secret right away in the client browser. We then store the encrypted version of it and return a URL somebody else can use to claim the secret. The cool thing is that the URL has the decryption key in it, and therefore, we don’t ever need to see it/store it, or log it anywhere. Meaning really only the recipient of the link can read the secret.

In addition, we delete the secret right away after it gets claimed, making it a much more secure way to share secrets.

I am a bit sceptical about how common this use-case is in the Wix ecosystem, but it is a nice tool to use for our internal processes as well.
